New Nepean Hospital Emergency Department opens

Nepean Hospital Emergency Department entrance

The new Emergency Department (ED) at Nepean Hospital is now open.  

The new ED entry is via Gate 7 on Somerset Street, Kingswood. The entrance provides public pedestrian and vehicle access to the Emergency Department only.

Staff worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and smooth transition from the old Emergency Department to the ED’s new location.

 The new ED will operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
