About NSW Cabinet conventions
Cabinet is a central part of decision making within NSW Government. Cabinet conventions refer to a set of informal and unwritten rules that govern the functioning of the Cabinet. These conventions outline:
- who is part of Cabinet
- what Cabinet is responsible for
- how Cabinet decisions are recorded and implemented
- when Cabinet can and cannot make decisions.
