Delivering the plan

This Strategic Plan sets the direction for Western NSW Local Health District for 2025-2030 and provides the framework for achieving our shared vision of healthier rural communities.

Our priorities will be translated into clear, measurable action through an implementation roadmap over the five-year period . The roadmap will be actioned each year through our District Annual Priorities, and other supporting plans. Together, these tools will guide implementation across the organisation, ensure accountability, and enable transparent tracking and reporting of progress.

Delivering on this plan is a shared responsibility across the organisation. It will require collaboration across all parts of the District to embed the plan’s priorities. While the priorities are set for the next five years, our approach to delivering them will continue to evolve through ongoing review and learning. This ensures we adapt how we work, embrace new opportunities, and strengthen local services to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Western NSW.
