Find out about NESA's removal of the paper application process for schools implementing a compressed curriculum model to deliver the HSC.
NESA has removed the previous paper application process for schools implementing or intending to implement a compressed curriculum model to deliver the HSC program and commencing Preliminary courses prior to Day 1, Term 1 of Year 11(early commencement).
Schools currently approved for compressed curriculum delivery/early commencement must notify NESA annually that curriculum continues to be delivered using the compressed model and that Preliminary courses commence early (if applicable).
Notifications are due by the end of Week 5, Term 3.
Schools intending to introduce compressed curriculum delivery and commence Preliminary courses early must seek approval from NESA.
Applications are due by the end of Week 5, Term 3 of the year of early commencement.
Notifications and applications for compressed curriculum delivery/early commencement will be made through Schools Online: Schools Online > Administration Functions > School Settings
Requirements for compressed curriculum delivery/early commencement are now published in ACE 8050.
