What is private land conservation?

Private land conservation occurs when landholders take voluntary steps to manage their land to protect and preserve the natural environment.

Properties for sale

The NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust sells conservation properties through its Revolving Fund. Here's how to find a property with an ongoing conservation area for you to manage and enjoy.

How we can help

At the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust, we work with landholders to protect, connect and enhance biodiversity across NSW.

Our team provides tailored support to help landholders conserve native vegetation and wildlife on their properties—while also securing financial benefits through conservation agreements.

We offer a range of agreement options, including those with annual payments or grant funding, and provide training and ongoing support to help landholders manage their land for conservation.
