This is a competitive travel round to provide a limited number of NSW screen practitioners working in factual with funding support to attend the 2024 Australian International Documentary Conference being held March 3-6, 2024.

Program objective
The objectives of the program are to:
- Support travel, accommodation and registration for NSW practitioners to attend AIDC
- Ensure factual practitioners are given access to opportunities to not only benefit their own careers but also then reinvest it back into the NSW screen industry
- Support connections that will shape the future of our creative landscape and strengthen our position in the global market.

Eligibility
Who can apply
Screen NSW general eligibility requirements can be found in the Screen NSW Terms of Trade, which should be read in conjunction with these guidelines.
Applicants must:
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander practitioner, with relevant experience in factual taking part in AIDC’s Indigenous Creators Program (preference may be given to those with market-ready projects); or
- Be an early to mid-career practitioner with relevant experience in factual and you have been invited to pitch in one of AIDC’s competitive programs, or have a slate of market-ready projects to pitch
Applicants must also be:
- Able to attend the entire conference from March 3-6, 2024
- A resident of NSW for at least the past 6 months
- An Australian citizen.
Screen NSW is committed to supporting increased participation in the industry of people from under-represented groups. Priority will be given to applicants from the following priority areas:

- First Nations people
- People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- People living with disability
- LGBTQIA+ people.
There will be up to three places reserved for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants.

The submission must include a 2-3 page summary of projects, including synopsis, stage of production, top-line budget, key creatives/production company, and any confirmed financial partners.
