Program objective
The grant objectives are to:
- boost local access to psychological, counselling, peer and clinical support
- support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of people and communities, particularly younger and older people and Aboriginal communities in disaster affected areas in Western NSW through administering a grants program
- improve care navigation to support recovery of people affected by disasters in Western NSW
- partner with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to support Aboriginal people and communities to access culturally safe supports to recover from disasters.
This program is funded and administered by NSW Health.
