Program objective
Engage Garage Sale Trail Foundation to run the 2024 Garage Sale Trail event and campaign following the below objectives:
- Provide an “at home” solution for residents across NSW to reuse household items.
- Implement new community engagement initiatives that increase participation in the Garage Sale Trail program from culturally and linguistically diverse Australians.
- Run a state-wide education campaign that encourages and promotes reuse, creates a social norm that does not support illegal dumping and highlights responsible ways to dispose of unwanted household items.
- Facilitate participation from multi-unit dwellers, and others in the community, by organising and facilitating local group sales and markets across NSW.
