Newcastle Port Community Contribution Fund

The Newcastle Port Community Contribution Fund supports projects that revitalise the Port of Newcastle through improved community infrastructure, amenities, programs or events that benefit community.

The Newcastle Port Community Contribution Fund is a competitive, merit-based program that supports projects that revitalise and energise Port of Newcastle and surrounding areas for the benefit of the community through new infrastructure, upgrading of existing assets and encouraging visitors and tourism.

The intended outcomes of the program are to: 

  • foster stronger community bonds
  • enhance accessibility
  • boost visitation
  • increase participation in cultural and artistic life, and
  • enhance public, environmental and business infrastructure.

This program is funded and administered by Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
