Leura Cascades Recreation Precinct Upgrade Project

About the Project

The Leura Cascades Recreation Precinct Upgrade project will deliver the upgrade of a key community recreational and significant visitor asset in the Blue Mountains that was damaged by storms in February 2020. The project will deliver improved and accessible recreational and visitor infrastructure within and surrounding the Leura Cascades Picnic Area, integrating with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services upgrade of the Grand Cliff Top Walk.

  • Upgraded Leura Culvert
  • New Car Park at Leura Cascades Precinct
  • New building at the Leura Cascades Precinct
  • New Drainage infrastructure at the culvert and precinct
  • Road Surface adjacent to the culvert
  • Vegetation adjacent and around the new Leura culvert and new Leura Cascades Precinct
  • Signage on road and within the Leura Cascades precinct
