About the Project

The South Lawson Park Upgrade Project will enable the construction of a new accessible toilet block that will complement the works currently being undertaken as part of the Livability program. This will be paramount for encouraging people to stay for longer periods and enjoy the large green and open spaces.

Project Scope

This project will result in:

  • Construction of a four-cubicle accessible, universal design toilet building
  • Rainwater harvesting with water tanks
  • Car park upgrades
  • Construction of accessible pathways to link amenities to the existing path network and associated drainage
  • Soft landscaping including turfing, plantings, mulching and edging
  • Disc golf course
  • New seating
  • Bubbler near amenities block
