About the Project
The Strathfield Place Making project will transform an underutilised laneway into a vibrant, and activated shared pedestrian-zone. This project will improve walkability, pedestrian safety and outdoor dining as well as opportunities for passive recreation.
Project Scope
The project will feature:
- A shared pedestrian zone (conversion of Bells Lane)
- Outdoor dining areas
- Public art
- Suspended lighting installations and catenary lighting
- Raised pedestrian crossing
- Footpath paving
- Street furniture
