About the Project

The Camden Civic Centre Renewal project will transform the Camden Civic Centre into a facility that is well equipped to foster and showcase creative activity. The investment will deliver formal and informal creative and performance spaces, welcoming artists, performers and community.

Project Scope

  • Creation of multipurpose community and art practice spaces.
  • Outdoor activity space for performance and passive recreation.
  • Access and storage improvements.
  • Improved technology across the site including a purpose built digital studio, keyless entry, CTV, alarm and lighting systems, AV upgrade, and improved WIFI.
  • Accessibility improvements to the venue and surrounds.
  • Installation of public art and street furniture.
