About the Project

The Tamplin Field Redevelopment Project will deliver a major transformation of a key community facility in Hobartville, creating a high-quality, multi-use recreational precinct that supports a wide range of sports, recreational, and community activities. The project focuses on providing accessible and inclusive facilities that promote active lifestyles, community connection, and environmental sustainability.

Project Scope  

This project will deliver:

  • Amenities Building with tiered seating, canteen, bathrooms, change rooms, referee spaces and increased storage capacity
  • Javelin area
  • Upgraded athletics track to regulation size complete with turf surfacing and new line marking
  • Discus area with cage and throwing circle space
  • Perimeter fencing
  • Renovation of existing multi-use courts
  • Improved Drainage to site
  • Carparking
  • Lighting
  • Landscaping
  • Dog training facility
  • All inclusive playspace and outdoor fitness area
  • Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment
  • Signage and wayfinding
