About the Project

The Parramatta CBD to Sydney CBD Cycleway Project completes the missing link between the M4 Cycleway and City of Canada Bay Cycleway, connecting residents and visitors from the Parramatta CBD to the Sydney CBD via a high-quality walking and cycling network. The project delivers 1.5km of cycleway through Sydney Olympic Park and Carter Street Precinct in Lidcombe, significantly improving access during events on the southern end of Olympic Park.

Project Scope

The works feature:

  • Construction of a 40m long, pedestrian and cyclist through-truss bridge
  • Approach ramps with  from the east and west respectively 
  • Shared pathway
  • Lighting
