About the Project

The Renew and Upgrade Oakdale Hall Project will see the existing hall, kitchen, and storage rooms being refurbished to bring the building up to standards. 

The project will include more accessible amenities, a cleaning/plant room, and a storage room. The project will also feature a new carpark, kerbs, and drainage. 

Project Scope

  • Repairs to existing timber floor, walls and roof framing
  • New internal walls and ceiling sheeting
  • New timber flooring
  • Refurbishment of the existing kitchen benches
  • New verandah to Eastern side of building to connect the Community Hall to Burragorang Road
  • Emergency lighting and exit signs
  • Installation of water tanks with a pump for firefighting purposes
  • Metal faced security doors and window screens
  • Air conditioning and mechanical ventilation
  • Fencing, minor planting, and reinstatement of grass
  • Minor service diversions (no details) and investigation works
