Menindee Health Council Open Day
The Menindee Health Council is hoping that people take the opportunity on their Open Day to find out what is available at the town's health service and take a tour through the facility. A Health Council Open Day is being held on Thursday, 3 October 2019 at Menindee Health Service from 10am to 2pm and everyone is invited.
'We will be promoting the Menindee Health Council and the work they do as well as celebrate their work as volunteers,' said Barbara Turner, Menindee Health Service Manager.
As well as promoting the services offered by Far West LHD and Menindee Health Service, the Open Day will allow our service partners and other organisations to also promote the work they do and what they can provide, said Mrs Turner.
Taking part will be Country Care Mildura, Department of Primary Industries Drought Bus, Department of Human Services van, Trustee and Guardian Departments, Central Darling Shire Council, RAMHP, Novita NDIS Services, Justice Advocacy Service, the RFDS and Maari Ma Aboriginal Health Corporation.
A free barbeue will be held with tea and coffee and cakes available. Menindee Health Service staff will be available for tours and information about the services offered at Menindee Health Service.
