Assessment of Young People Procedure

Use this procedure when conducting detainee assessments to identify risk, criminogenic needs and responsivity of a client.

The steps to be taken by staff depend on the role of the staff member. These roles include: Unit Manager, Assistant Unit Manager, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, Alcohol and Other drugs Counsellor, Psychologist, admissions staff, and all staff.
