Facilitating Contact with Family and Significant Others Procedure

Use this procedure to manage contacts when family or significant others request contact with a detainee, the detainee requests contact with family or significant others, supporting or not supporting a person having contact with a detainee.

The steps to be taken by staff depend on the role of the staff member. These roles include: Unit Manager, Assistant Unit Manager, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, admissions staff, and all staff.
