The purpose of this procedure is to provide steps for registering a victim, and outlining the communication processes between the victim, the Victims Register Officer, the Serious Young Offenders Review Panel Project Officer and the Centre Manager or Assistant Manager (Custody).
The procedure assists Youth Justice NSW to comply with the requirements of the Children (Detentions Centre) Act 1987 in relation to the administration of the Victims Register.
