Connecting Country Schools with wireless
Urunga Public School, Grafton High School and Whian Whian Public School will have strong wireless installed with improved internet connectivity.
The three pilot schools of the Connecting Country Schools program will road test the wireless connectivity solution and the process of implementation until the end of September.
The technology will then by rolled out to more than 900 schools and 13,000 learning spaces in regional NSW.
Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the NSW Government’s investment of $46 million ensured that school communities in regional NSW would have access to fast and reliable online learning resources.
“The NSW Government is backing our country kids and ensuring they are given every opportunity to succeed at school because they deserve nothing less,” Mr Barilaro said.
