Vocational training upgrade for Cooma community
The $5 million project provides the south east NSW community with a range of industry-focused vocational education and training courses to meet the needs of local business, industry and the community.
The region is expected to see an increase in the construction industry of almost 13% over the next five years.
Minister for Skills John Barilaro said building facilities to meet student needs was transforming the vocational education and training sector in NSW.
“The upgrade ensures the future skilled workforce is educated, trained and prepared to participate in the growing economy,” Mr Barilaro said.
