Local Land Services events

Local Land Services delivers a range of free, in-person, down-to-earth workshops and events for livestock owners. Topics are designed for all stock owners, from small farmers to livestock enterprises looking to upskill including:

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development deliver farming business workshops.

How we can help

Support is available across NSW to help livestock owners improve animal health, productivity and resilience.  Services include:

  • Animal health and biosecurity advice – including disease prevention, diagnosis, animal welfare and herd health. 
  • Livestock production – from nutrition and pasture management to breeding and welfare. 
  • Identification and traceability – including help with Property Identification Codes (PICs), eID, and how to safely transport livestock. 
  • Emergency preparedness – advice and support to build farm resilience and manage your stock during drought, flood, and fire.
