Catering for all levels of cycling ability, the Mudgee Classic is a road and gravel cycling event set on the weekend of 29-30 April, 2023. The Maxi Classic (175 kilometres) – a testing Gran Fondo that takes in some of the most breathtaking and undulating scenery you can experience on two wheels. The Challenge Classic (125 kilometres) – perfect for those who want to test their endurance on a serious long-distance ride but aren’t quite ready for the full Gran Fondo experience. The Rouleurs Classic (65 kilometres) - the mid-distance ride will showcase the best of Mudgee region. The Social Classic (35 kilometres) – for the more relaxed rider, where they will enjoy the rolling hills and the smell of wine on a more causal ride. The brand-new Dirty Mudgee Gravel Ride (55km) - This specially chosen gravel course showcases Mudgee’s spectacular rural scenery, the region’s impressive vineyards and iconic Australian country landscape. There are fast sections of smooth rural lanes, trails and country roads with almost 700 vertical metres of climbing.
