Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) invites you to join a fun monthly drop-in sketching session for drawing enthusiasts of all skill levels. Held in different galleries every month, you'll be guided to sketch your response to an artwork, study an artist’s technique, illustrate an architectural detail, or be left free to hone your general drawing skills. The positive psychological impacts of sketching are widely known; even doodling has been shown to improve analytic and problem solving abilities, reduce stress, enhance mood, improve your communication range and boost self-esteem. If you are curious about drawing and are yet to try it for yourself, then this is the perfect introduction and encouragement! There is a brief introduction to the exhibition and share relevant drawing approaches for context and consideration, before commencing a 45-minute sketching session.
