Overview of this event
Taste Tamworth Festival is the premier annual food event on the region's calendar, highlighting growers, makers, chefs and diners during April. The premier events include the Pop-up Bar, Taste in the Park, High Tea in the Gardens and the Long Lunch.
The curtain raiser to the festival is the Pop-Up and celebrations with Taste in the Park - a showcase of regional food at beautiful Bicentennial Park attracting 10,000 people.
During Taste Month there is a variety of events hosted by the region's award winning restaurants.
High Tea in the Gardens will be back and the festival will be concludes in spectacular fashion with the ever popular Long Lunch. This event draws friends to enjoy an afternoon that celebrates the region’s bounty of fresh produce. More than 250 impeccably dressed visitors are seated and ready for an afternoon of spectacular local food, wine, live music and relaxation.
