Crown Sydney Resort ProjectCrown

The Government approved Crown's Final Binding Offer on 11 November 2013, and the same month the NSW Parliament passed legislation that enabled Crown to apply for a restricted gaming facility licence at Barangaroo South. The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) has completed its investigations and considerations, and has granted a restricted gaming licence to Crown to operate the Barangaroo restricted gaming facility from 15 November 2019. Sale of the Queen Mary BuildingUniversity of SydneyThe government finalised the sale of the Queen Mary Building, Camperdown to the University of Sydney on 10 October 2013. The building will be used for affordable student accommodation.

Westmead Hybrid Particle Therapy and Research CentreNichigo HealthProposal to deliver a Hybrid Particle Therapy and Research Centre (HPTRC) in the Westmead Health and Innovation District. The proposal did not proceed past Stage 2 of the process.
Norwest High SchoolDexus Funds Management LimitedProposal to deliver a new public high school in Norwest on existing Dexus land. The proposal did not proceed past Stage 2 of the USP process.
Leasehold purchase of 50 Phillip Street, SydneyBuilt Development Group Pty LtdTo amalgamate 50 and 52 Phillip Street, Sydney (which it owns) to develop a new 5/6 star hotel. The proposal provides for the retention and refurbishment of 50 Phillip Street to provide the main entrance, lobby, conference rooms and back-of-house areas for the hotel as well as some hotel accommodation. The proposal did not proceed past Stage 2 of the process.

Proposal to upgrade the Kogarah Station Precinct including the transport interchange and Kogarah Town Centre (KTC). The proposal included additional retail space, residential accommodation (including some affordable housing) and additional car parking.

The proposal did not proceed past Stage 2 of the process.

Proposal to deliver a metro station at Sydney Science Park, Luddenham, including the development of fully serviced commercial land for strategic government purposes.
