Location

Set among rolling plains, legendary rivers and snow-covered peaks, Cooma is the largest town in the Snowy Mountains region and the gateway to the state’s alpine area.

Getting there

Cooma is a little over 4 hours' drive from Sydney, about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Canberra, and 1.5 hours from Bega.

You can also fly into the Snowy Mountains Airport with Rex Airlines and Qantas from major Australian cities, only a short distance from Cooma.
