Getting there

Goulburn is a 2 hour drive from Sydney and 1 hour from Canberra (ACT). There are also regular bus and train services to major cities.

Patient transfers and direct admissions

Southern's District Patient Flow Unit coordinates patient movements between hospitals in Southern NSW Local Health District, and to or from hospitals outside our district.

The unit manages transfers, coordinates conference calls between referring and accepting clinicians, confirms bed availability, and books patient transport so care is timely and safe.
