Hunter Valley bus tragedy public Memorial Service
The NSW Government, in partnership with Cessnock City Council and Singleton Council, will hold a public Memorial Service to honour the memory of the lives lost in the Hunter Valley bus tragedy.
The service will also provide an opportunity to acknowledge and bring together those who have been affected by the accident on June 11, including family and friends of loved ones whose lives were lost, those who survived, and the first responders including emergency services personnel.
The Memorial will be held at the Singleton Showground on Saturday, 21 October, commencing at 11am.
Gates to the Showground will open at 10am, with people asked to be seated by 10.45am.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend the public Memorial Service to show their support and stand together in solidarity on this difficult journey.
A ticket or registration is not required to attend, and the event will be live streamed on this webpage.
Following the service, a free communal barbecue in partnership with local charitable organisations will be hosted at the Singleton Showground, as an opportunity to continue providing comfort and support for all.
Please refer back to this webpage in the coming weeks for further details about the Memorial.
