NESA strives to ensure students in NSW reach their highest potential at school. The 2021–2022 annual report highlights NESA's goals, and how they've been achieved in the last year.
Achievements include:
- Releasing the new Kindergarten to Year 2 English and Mathematics curriculum – helping improve how English and Mathematics are taught in early primary school.
- Launching the new NSW Curriculum website – helping teachers work with the new syllabuses and access support materials.
- Launching the NESA Learning hub – supporting professional development for NSW teachers.
- Continuing the Teacher Expert Network (TENs) – contributing to the development of syllabus content and the digital curriculum platform.
