NSW public and independent schools
To find out if your child’s school is closed due to flooding, or other extreme weather events, visit the Department of Education.

NSW Catholic schools
To find out if your child’s Catholic school is closed due to flooding, visit Catholic Schools NSW.
Vocational education and training
Secondary students whose VET classes are affected by NSW storms and floods may be able to access remote learning or training in an alternative location.
School-based apprentices and trainees who are affected by NSW storms and floods can find information and support through Skills NSW.

Learning remotely
The Department of Education has guidance and materials to support parents and carers while students are learning remotely.
Digital Learning Packs are available with timetabled activities for the early years up to Year 10 students. Parents and carers can work through them with their child and when instructed by their school.
