Buyers are encouraged to help businesses in the bush to get back on their feet after a challenging two years, by supporting the ‘Buy Regional’ online campaign.
More than 800 businesses are listed on the NSW Government’s Buy Regional webpage, and are stocked and ready to send presents, food and wine in time for an unforgettable Christmas.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said just one purchase from a regional seller goes a long way, with every sale generating business for local suppliers and money into the local economy.
“The greatest gift you can give those in the regions this Christmas is your business, so I encourage you to visit the NSW Government’s Buy Regional page, browse through the categories and get your orders in early,” Mr Toole said.
“I’d love to see every family in Sydney buy at least one gift from a regional business this Christmas, either in person or online, and help get the bush buzzing.”
