The Regional Theatre Project (Arts NSW) funds plays and performances that engage and develop regional arts, cultural workers and audiences.
In the latest round of funding, eight art organisations have benefited from a share of almost $400,000 in funds to produce major performances for local audiences.
Audiences in Albury, Bathurst, Mullumbimby, Shoalhaven, Newcastle, the Upper Hunter, Wagga Wagga, Muswellbrook and Dubbo can look forward to new theatre works presented, produced and performed by people living in their local area.

Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) & Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), Bathurst & Sydney: for an original contemporary theatre production which aims to have seasons at the BMEC and the ATYP.
