New and refurbished state-of-the-art health facilities will make it easier for patients to see their family doctor and other health providers – such as dentists, physiotherapists and pharmacists – in one place.
The new HealthOne facilities will be built at:
- Port Stephens
- Bowraville
- Evans Head
- Dapto
- Ulladulla
- Orchard Hills
- Buronga/Dareton
- Green Square, Sydney
Existing HealthOne facilities undergoing refurbishment and enhancement at:
- Merrylands
- Nambucca
- Camden Haven
- St Clair
- Tibooburra
Existing HealthOne facilities undergoing IT upgrades at:
- Urunga
- Bonny Hills
- Lithgow
- Jordan Springs
- Oran Park
- Wollondilly
- Ocean Shores
Health Minister Brad Hazzard noted that several of these projects were in regional NSW.
“We are building brand new HealthOne centres in areas including the Blue Mountains, Northern NSW, Far West NSW, Mid North Coast, Port Stephens and two in the Illawarra, as well as refurbishing many more, greatly enhancing primary health care services for thousands of patients in the regions,” Mr Hazzard said.
