Clean-up kits for taxis and other point to point transport vehicles will help keep drivers and passengers safe during COVID-19.

The NSW Government is providing a free clean-up kit to all point to point transport vehicles. This includes taxis and rideshare.

The clean-up kits will include gloves, saline eye wash, antiseptic swabs, soap and first-aid hand towels.

The clean-up kits are available to order online or at a NSW vehicle sanitisation station.

Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said the clean-up kits will help people who rely on point to point transport in regional NSW feel confident using these services during COVID-19.

“We’ve made it convenient for drivers to collect these kits while their vehicles are sanitised in regional areas like Dubbo, Albury, Tamworth and Central Coast. Already we’ve seen more than 7000 vehicles use the stations, so we know it’s making a difference,” Mr Toole said.

Find out how to order your free clean-up kit on the Point to Point Transport Commissioner Industry Portal.
