Manly Business Chamber return to Manly Pavilion for International Women's Day to celebrate, connect, educate and laugh!
President Charlotte Rimmer will be talking to local women Jarin Baigent, a 2022 NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year finalist, and Sharon Williams in an inspiring panel discussion.
Jarin's Story
Jarin Baigent is a WIRADJURI mama, entrepreneur, speaker and educator. After serving in the NSW Police Force for over 13 years and working in community reform, Jarin is the founding director and co-owner of Trading Blak, and is also celebrating 2 years as Jarin Street owner of Aboriginal activewear and mats. Trading blak aims to reclaim the Aboriginal business space for Aboriginal people.
Sharon's Story
Sharon Williams of Taurus Marketing is one of the world’s leading PR strategists and experts on personal brand reputation, and also a public speaker, CEO, entrepreneur, broadcast media commentator, international marketer, Nine.com.au finance blogger, editorial contributor and mother of three. Sharon’s experience and knowledge is an unbeatable combination.
The event will include a raffle, with all profits supporting the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter. Since 2010 they have opened their doors to over 500 homeless women and children across Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
