What we do and how we work
Create NSW manages properties to support arts, culture and creative industries with subsidised accommodation. By doing this we hope to:
- increase access to quality arts and cultural facilities
- encourage innovation in the design and use of the facilities
- improve the sustainability of arts and cultural facilities
- encourage collaboration and partnerships between arts and cultural organisations.
We also provide short-term hiring of spaces for productions, rehearsals, festivals, events and other projects. Benefits to NSW include contributing to the economy, urban renewal and social cohesion.

Venues for hire
Create NSW offers short-term venue hire of our spaces, suitable for rehearsals, workshops, presentations, screenings, exhibitions, performances, meetings and cultural events.
Haymarket Creative, UTS
Two theatre spaces to support rehearsals, workshops, screenings and events.
One Canal Road, Leichhardt
Flexible studio, workshop and office spaces to support screen, theatre and arts production and rehearsal.
Walsh Bay Arts Precinct
Harbour view spaces to host festivals, exhibitions, performances, talks and cultural events.
