Making choices under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
People benefiting from the NDIS are responsible for the products they buy and the contracts they agree to with service providers. When making these decisions, it can be difficult to make the choice that’s right for you. The resources on this page are designed to help you navigate your options.
NSW Fair Trading works to empower consumers
It is important everyone understands their rights as a consumer before entering a contract, hiring a service or making a complaint. Equally important is having the advice and tools available to help understand these rights.
We work with other organisations to develop these resources. Australia’s consumer protection agencies produce educational materials to help you learn more about your consumer rights at your own pace.
