Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is an organisation with about 1500 volunteers of which 300 are regular volunteers who offer food, health services, social and welfare services, literacy programs in schools and employment training pathways.
The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation looks after the homeless, disadvantaged, and lonely and inspires others in the community to help look after the less fortunate. The organisation serves breakfast and lunch every day of the year from their Ashfield site, as well as lunch and dinner through their network of food vans that travel across Sydney, providing a total of 30,000 hot meals a month.

“We see our volunteers as the heart of our organisation, without them we simply wouldn’t exist and be able to provide any services to our vulnerable guests. Our volunteers tell us they are motivated by a sense of compassion and justice to help support those in society that are often invisible and forgotten. With their help, we can make a real difference to the lives of those less fortunate”
The volunteers gain insight into those in society who are often invisible and are motivated by sense of compassion and justice to make a real difference to the lives of those less fortunate. The volunteers operate on the “front line”; participating in a direct and tangible experience to make an immediate positive impact to the lives of their guests.
