Southern NSW Local Heath District (LHD) has 9 hospitals, 3 multipurpose services, 2 mental health facilities and 3 community healthcare centres across regional NSW. We offer a range of public health services in the hospital environment as well as community health services. A full list of these services can be found on our services page.
Health Infrastructure delivers all major health capital works over $10 million in NSW, supporting the healthcare needs of NSW communities now and into the future.
Current projects
New Eurobodalla Regional Hospital Development
The NSW Government is investing $330 million to build a modern, sustainable hospital to support the needs of the Eurobodalla Shire, from Narooma to Batemans Bay.
Batemans Bay Community Health
The NSW Government has committed $20 million to deliver a modern, integrated, and convenient health service for the Batemans Bay community.
Bombala Multipurpose Service Expansion
The expanded Bombala Multipurpose Service (MPS) will deliver increased access to residential aged care accommodation to meet the needs of the local community.
Key Worker Accommodation Program
The $45.3 million Key Worker Accommodation Program (KWA) is a NSW Government program aiming to provide short and long-term housing accommodation to health workers in regional and rural areas across NSW.
