When will testing take place?
Light rail vehicle testing will occur at various times of the day and night on the:
- 12-kilometre two-way track between Westmead and Carlingford.
- Stabling and Maintenance Facility in Camellia.
Testing will commence between Carlingford and Dundas, and will progress along sections of the alignment towards Westmead. We will notify the community ahead of light rail vehicle testing taking place in each section.
There may be more than one light rail vehicle being tested at any one time, and testing may occur in one or both directions.
Light rail vehicles will need to cross Grand Avenue when arriving at or departing the Stabling and Maintenance Facility in Camellia.
