Be an eSafe kid: Back to school – truth or trap?
Join this live virtual classroom to learn how to investigate fake information and fake friendships online.
Information, images and videos posted online can be untrue or misleading. Anyone can post a story online and news travels fast on social media. So we need to question what we read and watch, before trusting that it's right.
Year 5 and 6 students can learn to investigate fake information and fake friendships online.
Students can develop critical thinking skills to:
- identify misinformation, disinformation and fake online identities such as impersonator and catfishing accounts
- stay safe and where to get help and support.
