NESA has developed adjusted Graduate-entry models for any applicant who does not meet the standard entry requirements for both TAS and PDHPE.
These will provide increased flexibility for ITE Providers when assessing applicants at the point of entry into a Graduate program; and still ensure a rigorous, consistent and transparent framework to select high-quality candidates. These models apply flexibility to the standard pathway into TAS or PDHPE Graduate entry programs and includes:
- a reduction in the number of units required for entry into an ITE program (at the point of entry)
- variation in the year levels of undergraduate discipline study units required for entry into ITE programs
- a reliance on the availability and use of elective space within Graduate entry programs to address any missing pre-requisite discipline-based subject content, as defined in the NSW Subject Content Knowledge Requirements policy.
