When to apply:
Applications for approval as a Teacher Accreditation Authority (TAA) are due by 31 March 2021 for:
- TAAs of non-government schools with registration that expires at the end of 2021
- new TAAs of proposed non-government schools seeking to begin operating in 2022
- new TAAs of early childhood education centres.
The requirements and processes for approval as a TAA under the Teacher Accreditation Act 2004 are detailed in the Guidelines for the Regulation of Teacher Accreditation Authorities for Non-government Schools and Early Childhood Education Centres.
