As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes have been made to the conduct and operations of the HSC in 2020. A temporary amendment of ACE 9008 is required to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 for students, teachers and exam supervisors during written HSC exams.
The changes in this ACE rule give effect to decisions made by the COVID-19 Response Committee in line with health and safety advice from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC). The change affects the supervision of HSC examinations to further reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in schools.
This ACE rule applies until 31 December 2020 or until it is revoked.
