About Pyrmont Wedding Registry
Overlooking Pyrmont Bay, the Pyrmont Registry is the perfect intersection of natural and urban landscapes. Surrounded by parklands, water and modern architecture, this venue and our team will ensure your big day is effortless and beautiful.
Couples can choose between a Classic, Unique or Premium ceremony, held in one of our private, light filled spaces, which has capacity for between 30-70 people.
The Registry also offers Legal-only ceremonies. This option includes you and your partner, your 2 witnesses and celebrant in a small Registry room.
Couples who are already married and looking to renew their commitment can choose a Vow Renewal ceremony.
Our rooms
Terrumi
Hosting both Classic Terrumi and Premium ceremonies, our Terrumi rooms - pronounced 'Te-d-um-ai', have been named in a local Aboriginal language, meaning 'always' or 'forever'. This intimate space is the perfect affordable ceremony site for celebrating with up to 30 family and friends in the heart of Sydney.
Taka room
Named after the local Aboriginal word for 'together', this room is used for our Classic Taka ceremonies and has capacity for up to 50 people.
Pyrmont Wedding Registry monthly open days
Take the opportunity to tour the space - including our new Taka room, meet our celebrants, ask questions about the booking process and complete and sign your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) on the spot, ready for lodgement with the Registry*.
The open days are free to attend, and no registration is required.

- Friday 27 June, from 9:30am-11:30am.
*Note: both parties must be present and bring original Government issued identification to complete the NOIM.

Unique ceremony
Our Unique, one-off wedding ceremonies offer couples the chance to add a special twist to their big day.
They have all the inclusions of a Classic ceremony, as well as special event styling or activations, themed to the event.
Choose from some extra good fortune on Lucky Day 8/8 or a touch of magic on Halloween.
Our special events are as unique as each couple's love story.

Premium ceremony
Includes:
- a celebrant
- increased capacity of up to 70 people with our two Terrumi Rooms combined into one space
- choose a loved one to do a reading during your ceremony
- official standard marriage certificate
- Summer Seaside design commemorative marriage certificate (or choose another design)
- fee to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage
- floral styling and chairs for guests.
Available selected Saturdays, 5pm-7pm: From $1,301

Legal-only ceremony
Includes:
- a celebrant
- a small private room as your venue
- capacity of 4 - only the couple and their two witnesses
- fee to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage.
- Choice of either:
- official standard marriage certificate with either next day collection, or
- official standard marriage certificate sent by registered post, and Native Springtime design commemorative certificate (or choose another design).
Available:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays 9am-4pm: From $479
- Saturdays 9am-4pm: From $594

Vow Renewal ceremony
Married couples can declare their love for each other all over again by recommitting with a Vow Renewal ceremony. The service holds no legal significance.
Couples can select from the Classic or Premium ceremony packages as above. Prices start from $479.
Note: Classic vow renewal ceremonies are held Monday to Friday between 9am-4pm, or Friday 6pm-8pm.
Premium ceremonies are held on selected Saturdays between 5pm-7pm.
