Forums in Lismore and Tweed Heads will help businesses and residents affected by the recent floods in northern NSW with their insurance claims.
The NSW Government will work alongside the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) and major insurers to offer one-on-one support to insurance policyholders.
The forums will take place at local recovery centres:
- Lismore: Thursday, April 27, 6-9pm
- Tweed Heads: Friday, April 28, 6-9pm
Deputy Premier and Minister for Small Business, John Barilaro, said the forums would build on the ground support offered by the government.
“The government is working with other support groups and will be there as long as businesses need their help – be it at the recovery centres, on the Business Bus, or by mobile means,” Mr Barilaro said.
Policyholders can register by calling 1800 734 621.
