New communities in south-west Sydney
A new 1500-hectare land release at South Creek West will create vibrant new communities for 30,000 families.
Located just south of the proposed Western Sydney Airport, the new communities will feature new town centres, schools, health facilities, public transport, road upgrades, environmental conservation areas and quality green space, shaded by a canopy of about 150,000 new trees.
Minister for Planning and Housing, Anthony Roberts, said with the Western Sydney Airport on the way, Sydney’s south west was booming.
“It is the priority of the NSW Government to increase the affordability, supply and diversity of housing across the state and we are getting on with this important job by releasing and rezoning more land for new communities and streamlining the planning process.
