Community feedback is wanted on proposed changes to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The proposed changes under the NDIS Act seek to improve the scheme for both participants and providers, including the application of the Participant Service Guarantee.

More than 150,000 people are benefiting from services and support under the NDIS, three years on from its full roll-out across NSW.

Families, Communities, and Disability Services Minister Alister Henskens said with NSW leading the way in advocating for improvements to the NDIS, it is important for the NSW community to participate in the consultation.

“It is important that the voices of people with disability, their families, and carers are at the forefront of changes to the NDIS, and this consultation period provides people with the opportunity to have their say,” Mr Henskens said.
